Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style as The Cinema Snob, but she's more prone to obsessively watching dumb action films. Her first review was around the middle of 2009, after she was famous on their forums. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of the Channel Awesome team. She was on the website until early 2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax shows as well as sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed a film was the latter part of 2009. She earned a great deal of popularity through her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. Her appearances have included a variety throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She used to be a part of Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as appear often on episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
